Just wanted to say thanks for asking this question cause it helped our system communicate about our headspace. we've tried for a long time to work out how our inner world works (there's a ton of rules in there..) and tried asking each other what our places look like, but no ones really answered too much or shared much. With this question though, only 8 of us haven't answered what they're place looks like - and several of them we don't have contact with anyways. Everyone else has answered, in detail, everything from colours, what's there, where, how things work etc. It's helped us loads with getting to know each other better and started a cool thing for us: we made the document with how the inner world works, and then I started another document to see if someone else would wanna share more so almost everyone (all but 3) has answered, in incredible detail, what they look like. This continued and we started working on a document we started a while back, with what makes us happy. Where everyone answered! On top of that everyone answered (or let me/us write about, and commented on) who they are - meaning what their job was/is, how old they are, what their personality is like, how they react to things etc etc. It's awesome getting to know our system so well!

So yeah, a huge ######6 thank you to you for this!

We have a center room that basically connects to everything, Theres a hallway of doors leading to each ones own room, and in those rooms they decorate freely so that theyre comfortable. We have a meeting room aswell, where we all gather for obvious meetings, and we have a main room that has toys and games and things for everyone to loung and just hangout, off of that room we have a meditation room, thats candle lit with plush chairs and pillows, to be able to go in to relax or rejuvinate yourself, upstairs is like an old library attack where I hold our memories and Ive let them put whatever they like into, so theres flowers and paintings and books, and theres a sort of basement level aswell, but that area is dark and you cant see anything there, so I put in a candle so that Im able to see if I want to go in there and walk around. We also have what I call the out room, and its draped with a big comfy chair, and candles and looks very cozy and nice, all to make everyone feel homey and comfortable. But each bedroom has its own theme. Its pretty big and Ive been working on it alot recently. I even put in an intercom type of system, its kind of like if your in your bedroom and you dont want to hear whats being said either by others or by the person out then you can hit a button and have silence.

But for some reason if someone blocks while they are out we all get shoved into darkness and cant hear or see anything on the inside. Im not sure why that happens though.

I like this thread, Its cool reading what you guys all have :)

I was curious about the people who have pets, are those alters or just pets?

Much love

We lately changed our headspace completely, we wanted more space, more freedom and more Privacy.

It is more or less a house, but in the tops op some trees. Everyone has their own treehouse, exept for Marina and Boy, since they are too young. Each house looks like a sphere, and the branches of the tree grow around it so it stays in place. at the bottom floor there is a living part, with a couch, books, games, music, etc. at the top floor, there is the bedroom where the alter sleeps.

In the center of it all is a very big shere, that is where alters have to go to get in front. Inside the big sphere there is a conference area at the top, at the floor below there are a meditation room with a view over a big lake and a room where alters can play games together. There are still two floors below, the first one is the arrival hall, this is where alters come back from being in front or leave to get in front. At the very bottom is the staircase, which runs all the way through the big tree. Jeff, Chris and Aylin tend to go there a lot. They are al fantasy creatures that love to run through our woods. Some trees are really big, and if they have a lot of roots sticking above the ground Jeff, Chris an Aylin ofter race through them to see who is the first to arrive at the other side of the roots.

besides a sphere-house, every alter also has something special. Around his house, Mike has some trees that are really close to each other, so close that all the branches are touching branches of other trees so he can run through those trees like he's a monkey. And Angel has a very big garden with beautiful trees and plants, and the whole garden is in above the ground attached to some very big trees! I have a very big tree with a staircase within it, at the top of the tree I can sit on a branch and look above the whole forest! I can see the lake, lots of big trees and beautiful plains. Sometimes I can even see the creatures running or Mike climbing, I love it

Different for everyone but we have a Cat/Panther and she is an alter. But Anastasia also has a polar bear that she says is her pet, and I've heard some conflicting information - but I believe it to just be a pet that is on the inside, not outside and not an alter :)

edit: well, it seems I am more and more on the fence about the polar bear being whatever he is due to some of the alters piping up as I wrote this. We'll see I guess :)

ever since this new forest got in amber has been taking snakes into her sphere, gross long snakes. I mean, why does she even like them? I hate snakes. But well, more real pets we don't have actually, even though jeff is often treated like a pet since he looks a bit like a black panther, again amber who has that pet, really a wierd child if you'd ask me

Of course you've got a place on here even if you're not DID! We visited this thread again and talked a bit about the polar bear and stuff like that (that was mentioned in this thread) and jacob, cassie and the polar bear revealed a whole side of the inner world (and a way that it functions) that we didn't know about yet cause we don't talk to them. Really ######6 awesome! :D So yeah, you're more than welcome to come on here with any questions ;) - Emma

I have a question to the other ones with their own "world" inside their heads. How do "see" your world? is it just like real-life that you see everything around you with your eyes and you are able to hear and locate every sound, etc. or is it something completely different?

I would guess this too works differently for different people - but to us the inside world works like real-life, but not confined to the boundaries of the the outside (like they can have abilities, talk with their mids etc) :)

I was thinking theyd be alters if theyre alive, but I wasnt sure so I thought Id ask, Thought it would be cool to have a pet but not too sure if its an alter. Either way polar bears and panthers are cool haha :)

Ours is very much real to us, except your able to manifest anything you want inside, I agree with the no boundries thing, there arent any limits on what you can do or what you can have inside. But your seeing it as real.

I know several people who have pets on the inside who are definitely not alters - just inner world thing. But I'd say it they can front and things like that, they're alters. In our system, from what I've gathered, we're allowed to have pets - but for a limited time frame. When that time is up (can be anything from the time it takes to do a certain task/to help with something, to a set time frame known by all or even just by Leo - who runs our inner world) they turn to glowing dust, that then turns to normal dust (within a second or so) and then gets "taken by the wind" and the dust disappears, leaving no trace of the pet on the inside. The fact that this has not happened though the polar bear has been there for years and years probably should've been a big clue for me in the first place

Ours is very much real to us, except your able to manifest anything you want inside, I agree with the no boundries thing, there arent any limits on what you can do or what you can have inside. But your seeing it as real.

This, indeed.
