It is quite enjoyable seeing all of your pictures Datenshi, thank you for sharing

Jasmine didn't trigger us at all - it just makes me want to help her in some way because she looks upset

Regards,
Aicha

Step by step I hope to have a picture of everyone around here, but it is hard to find some pictures on which the person looks a lot like the alter

Oh yes definitely. We have been searching high and low for a picture of M in her cat form but no image we've found really does her justice: a fat (but not obese, just fluffy really), short haired, black cat that looks happy and cuddly that is of high quality. Most of us haven't found a picture that resonates with us. But in time, hopefully

Best of luck to you as well.
Regards,
Aicha

These are not of the best pictures but M responded quite a bit to both
this and
this.

How do all of you find good images of your alters?
We're having a hard time finding images when things to search for is like "blonde" "blue eyes" "classic" etc. But then again, our google-fu isn't very good

Any tips?

Greetings Silany,
that is beautiful art there in your avatar. I will hope she draws you and that those who are comfortable and want to share can do so.

We spend hours upon hours looking through pictures online. One thing we've found helpful in addition to just Google is www.deviantart.com. It's a site where people can post and share all forms of art, from pictures to drawings to sculptures, etc. (A basic account, which is what we have, is free and gives you enough options for it to be worth it). We've found some of our pictures on that site, and we've found it's easier to search than google just for the less results you get (and the fat that you can either search just pictures, or search drawings and pictures, or whatever you want). That site is also more helpful than google for alters that are "different", like Kyra being half elf or whatever. She was able to find a picture of a girl that looked like her and had elf ears, because people post portrait pictures, cosplay pictures, any pictures you can think of! (We've been waiting until we feel ok about sharing to share the pictures we've found).
We used keywords like that, too, but we tend to use more than one. Like "blonde hair girl" or "blue hair" or "pretty Autistic girl" or "little Native American boy" (I don't remember searching these. I do. I don't remember that one. That's because I do. You searched for that? Yeah. Who was under that search? Stop typing this and finish up your reply!). Using more than one word can usually help narrow down the search results and give you results closer to what you're looking for.
