Peculiar mark on body *Trigger Warning?* cut

Postby Sotrsab » Mon Sep 17, 2012 1:00 am

Anyone find peculiar marks on their body? This is so odd & I'm so not going to say what, but I've cut a lot while 'amnestic' & it is always the same - either straight cut lines at varying depths or exacto holes. Anyway, this is neither, nor is it in a normal place that it would normally happen. In 3+ days, all the Neosporin I can apply hasn't yet made a difference.

Anyone have this happen?

I don't know what's embarrassing 'bout this, but sorry it is. Gonna reply anyway. 3+ days with neosporin and no difference? It might need to dry out. Have like a couple hours where it's not bandaged, it's freshly washed, and has no neosporin on it yet. Try not to be too active either so you won't accidentally bump it or anything. Then after it's dried a bit, put light neosporin on the bandaid and put the bandaid on it. The light neo will help the bandaid not stick to it, but it won't soak it so much that the scab stays mushy. You might also need a day of dry bandaids to help it out. And finally, if nothing else just keep an eye on it and as long as it doesn't get infected, it's fine. Sometimes sh*t just takes longer than you think it ever would.
