im back

Postby kadssdak » Wed Aug 01, 2012 2:08 pm

Its been some time since my last post its been a stressful few months with the arrival of a new kitten and my fast approaching wedding day not to mention issues at work as far as my DiD that has been very quiet of late. My T says she is concerned about me she says that as my DiD seems to be quieter i have become more detached from people apparently i look at people with a look she described as cold and full of contempt she sent me to see a man who specialised in emotions and brain function i was told his report was "unnerving" i still have no idea what she ment by that but i assume he said something similar to what had been said by her.

Its all a bit messed up really people buzzing around me like bugs and no one says what they mean do they think im dangerous or perhaps just unstable. In any case the last few months have been rather unpleasant.

When I have no idea what someone means, I ask them to explain until I get it. That would seem to be a reasonable response to your current situation.

I agree with Uma, get them to explain it. You've obviously got so much going on right now that you don't need to be worrying about this too.

I know for me, I tend to withdraw and get less emotionally engaged when I'm overwhelmed.
De crew includes: Amber (protector), Elizabeth (posh adult who works), Melissa (young teenager) Anastacia (strong adult who works), Big (seriously cool confident adult who can laugh with big people), Black (protector), Samantha (mum) and lots of others that aren't quite ready to come out yet.

Welcome back! Wedding planning can be sooo stressful. ((hugs if wanted))

In regards to what people mean, it can be so diverse, it's just best to clear it up with the person in particular, as one thing may be "unnerving" to one, but typical to another.
Host 1(M), Host 2(F), Host 3(Neither M/F), Doubt(F), Charlie(M), Li'l(F), and more.
Dx: LD, Dyslexia, DP, DR, etc...so many.
