A really grateful squirrel comes and gives them a map!!!

"Mister Squirrel," said Coral, "we can't understand this map. can you help us?"
the squirrel gasped and shook its head. of course the humans cant understand squirrelese!! so it took the map back...... and ate it!!!

but it wasnt done yet....

the squirrel started to hop and jump away, then stopped and stared at them.

"I think he wants us to follow him," said Coral.

Henry agreed and they followed the squirrel to the hollow of a large tree. Under the roots was their shiny black pearl. It was glowing and hot to touch. Henry put it in his pocket. "Now what?" he asked Coral. They both looked around feeling helpless and lost. They didn't know what to do. Above them they heard a sound.....

it was a large bird! something they had never seen before it had a head like a woodpecker (with that red part on top) and wings like a pterodactyl. The bird landed beside them and nudged them toward his back. The climbed on and flew off into the sky! Soaring above the land they could see the destruction of machina....in the distance they saw........

A big cloud of oily black smoke that went WAY up in the sky!!!!!!! It was so black nobody could see through it and everything it touched turned to black rock!!!

it smelled so bad!! like......

It smelled like burning rotten eggs and alligator farts! the bird was flying straight into the center of the black smoke! "I can't breathe!" shouted Coral. ""What are we supposed to do?"

Henry couldn't hear her. The bird was flying so fast he could barely see or breathe. The pearl in his hand was getting so hot he couldn't hold on. Henry didn't know what to do. Just then the pearl fell from Henry's hand down, down into the center of the foul cloud.....
