Since this post got started I really started thinking about that and wondering how certain people would react.....well.....last night I bit the bullet so to speak and decided to tell my little sister who is a nurse and when I say little she is 14 years younger then me so she knew me more as a teen and an adult...
But maybe its her medical background that makes her more understanding but her comment was 'You know that finally explains a whole lot to me also explains alot of the choices you made in your life" What surprised me is she wasnt judgmental in anyway and it touched my heart when she said " it doesnt matter we're family and nothing changes that."
I'm not sure where she learned that compassion from certainly wasnt from our mother.
Anyway Have a great day everyone

Also forgot to say, to epluribusunum, that yes, I love the way "y'all" works for DID! I don't say it because I didn't grow up with it, but friends of mine do now, and it works!
I, we, she, he, all feel right at different times, depending on who's co-present or co-conscious, and how blended we are - I'm still learning all these new expressions!
Tara, I'm so glad that your sister responded in the way she did!
Have a good day, y'all!
