potential religious trigger? metaphysical vs DID question

My parents often spoke of my "ghost". She was apparently there from before
I could walk. I am beginning to think that they had some serious issue and pushed them onto me. And my "ghost" that would sit and talk with me is an alter. But if she is there, I haven't heard from her (or realized she was there) since I was a kid.
