The past 2 weeks have been nuts. I don't even recognize myself anymore. The internal thoughts and voices are growing too quickly. I think I'm either splitting more or discovering new others..I don't know what to make of whats happening. It starts with lots of electrical tingling, then my eye hurts, and then I begin to feel super twitchy. This lasted for about 2 days. After that, I feel close to a presence of someone new. It happened this morning. I had a small conversation with him, and then a calm, true, strong feeling voice told me his name and I got a mental image of him nodding in approval.
I am discovering all these others, but I don't really understand my system at all yet. What can I do? What helps?
Thanks!

Parts are more likely to make themselves known months even years after the ‘danger’ as passed.
In other words, if parts are ‘surfacing’ it’s most likely because they are not afraid anymore and that you are getting stronger and are getting ready to deal with what is actually going on.
Boy I hope you're right rosee! Same thing has been happening to me lately!
If this is a sign of healing Im glad for myself and also you walden

. I hope you are able to learn more about your system.
Do you have a T? It helps to have a Therapist to work these things out with.

Thanks you too! I have a great T now. She really seems to know what to do and has been very helpful already.

It is sometimes scary for me to meet someone new in my system, but I just try to get through it by staying calm and listening. Just try to develop a friendship with the new one and listen, really listen to them. It is a good thing though I understand the confusion. I don't like meeting new ones but the fact that they are starting to come forward is a sign of healing. Just take it slow and listen to them.

I hope I’m right too. But right or wrong it helps me cope and not be so afraid of unfamiliar feelings regarding alters. And besides it makes sense. They aren’t going to make themselves know if it would be dangerous to them - they’re smarter than that. DID after all is known as the creative illness, something clever people do in order to survive childhood trauma.
I am an expert in nothing but my own life.
