There you go. Whoever was out, if it wasn't you, knows your routine well enough to stand in for you. No one in my life noticed when I have been absent, as far as I know. This is not unusual. This is actually the norm in DID, called covert DID. Overt DID, where the alters behave differently and want to be known by different names, is unusual.

Anyway, this information should put everyone's mind at ease about the question of whether your child is safe during your episodes of lost time.

Thanks Una.

I'm trying to get a better sense of what this (DID) looks like in people who aren't overt about it. The possibility that I have DID or DDNOS or any type of diagnosable dissociative disorder is still something that's hard for me to entertain.
Blame it on me, but know that I won't regret one iota.
