Question of the Inner World

Postby Encircled » Wed Jan 04, 2012 10:56 pm

There is a previous thread concerning a question about the inner world. Well, I have my own question to those of you with an inner world. Out of pure curiosity, did your world develop and grow more elaborate over time? Or did it just appear that way, and remain the same since the beginning?

Ahm...on this one, I am not sure and might have to wait until someone else comes out and tells me for sure. Because I'm not sure if it really did grow/expand/elaborate over time or if it's only my knowledge of our inner world that's expanded. It's difficult to know when you aren't the one living in the inner world very much.

mine changes. Here my old post, but I used to refer to it as trolls under a bridge.

dissociative-identity/topic72259.html#p586972

But it is not like that now. I don't have a clear sense of it but not like this anymore. No longer a bridge with ppl hiding under it. I guess that is a good thing!

When 25 shattered, the inner world changed. Jackie said a lot changed when I shattered, and a lot of the inner world was created when Amy shattered.

So I guess for us, changes do happen to the inner world when hosts shatter. There are small changes over time too but nothing major.

Our inner world is pretty static. We can't make any lasting changes to it, and it won't change on its own. It's cool to learn about places in it we never noticed before, though.

Here is a thread that our core started not long ago: dissociative-identity/topic77460.html.

I can't speak for everyone here because I have not been here as long as some of the others, but our inner world has been pretty steady for quite sometime up until recently. I was born into it when our core was 15ish. From what I can remember it only differs in the quality of the weather and most recently, the landscape.

We have only known about the DiD things for a few months and we are still learning about each other, but everyone that is still here agrees that when the core is taken care of and happy, the inner world is a much better place. When things stay on a constant even in the outer world, things are mostly ok in the inner world. When things are bad in the outer world, things are horrible in the inner world.

Here's what I mean: When our core got a puppy, she was happy and we saw a little bit of sun for a few days. It wasn't super bright but it kind of came through the clouds and provided more light than I ever remember before.

Then something happened to our core person, she's gone lost, and the innner world is in constant and total caos. Now we have a real big crack in the ground and big rocks are growing out of it. The weather is constantly storming, thundering, earthquakes, etc.

So, for us, the inner world directly relates to the outer world and how our core is feeling.

Sorry, but we cannot concentrate long enough to read really long replies or threads so don't think we're being rude if we don't.

It has changed a little, although it wasn't very elaborate to begin with. Some of my others have introduced me to their environments, but so far they haven't been interconnected in any way.
