Why not?For those diagnosed DID-Can the manifestation of a protecting alter come in the form of thoughts? I mean, repetitive thoughts during a time of trauma that keep the host from being focused on reality?
What does it feel like to forget? The only time I know I lost time is because the insides told me. Either through a nagging feeling of missing something, or they will say outright, hey, you blacked out and we did blah blah blah, evidence here.Second question is....what does it FEEL like to lose time for those that do?
No.Are you aware at all that you're losing time?
It depends on severity of what's going on. Sometimes, I'll suddenly stop hearing but get a vague idea of what's going on, or I'll black out. Another time, I'll be pushed out of the body while I watch the alter handle the situation(in my body), but I'm not privee to hear or see the details of what's going on. (I'm just floating there being like hey!), sometimes someone else is there by my side telling me it's okay.If you're co-concious with a protective alter how does the protector protect you?

Actually for a time, all I was doing was getting drunk to numb the things going on inside my head but it just made me lose time more and was doing some pretty freakin crazy stuff when I blacked out....anyways, I hate feeling drunk like this, I get so dizzy I feel I'm about to fall over. What about having DID or DDNOS makes you dizzy?
