Weird?

I discovered a new alter today. His name is Ghost, and I think he's mute. He sort of hunches his back and curls his hands up all weird when he comes out, and I must look very strange! Anyway, I've been feeling him hanging out in my mind for weeks now, but the others didn't know he was there. How could I have known about a new alter without the rest of them knowing?

Is that weird?

It sounds like he's been in hiding. Or am I missing the point here?

Well, he just sort of popped up out of nowhere. I don't know where he came from or why he's there, or how long he's been there. The point is, I'm wondering why I sensed he was there, when none of the alters did (that's one of the reasons I gave him the name "Ghost").

I could be as simple as the others weren’t looking out for anyone else but it dose seem odd.

It is typical for late-emerging alters to know about the other alters but the other alters don't know about the "late" ones.
