I AM CURRENTLY LIVING WITH A GUY WHO HAS CONFIDED IN ME ABOUT HAVING A SPLIT PERSONALITY. THE THING IS, SUNNIE WAS CREATED BY HIM AT A TIME WHEN HE NEEDED SUNNIE, BUT NOW, ALL SUNNIE DOES IS MAKE THE PEOPLE NICK CARES ABOUT LEAVE , GETS HIM INTO TROUBLE, PRETTY MUCH IS RUINING WHAT HE WANTS TO ACCOMPLISH. SUNNIE DOESN'T REALLY LIKE ME THAT MUCH, AND I KNOW HE GETS THE FEELING THAT WHEN HE IS FRONTING, I REALLY WANT NICK TO COME OUT. PRETTY MUCH I NEED ADVICE, WHAT SHOULD I DO, HOW DO I HANDLE TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN ONE BODY??

SAHAHC,
Hello. Wish I had some real words of wisdom to help you.
I have one that doesn't get along w/ my H well (she tolerates him).
I don't think you should push Sunnie.
Is this guy currently in therapy? Is he aware of Sunnie? Does he like Sunnie?
I had someone mention to me, when I was having difficulty w/ an alter, that maybe this alter was upset and acting out because he felt his work was over and had nothing left to do, and I needed to give him another important job.
Another suggestion has been to have the alter write out why he/she is acting like they are. What need isn't being meant? What do they want? I don't know if this guy journals w/ his or not. But, I've found very helpful.
Wish I could be of more help. I'm not really that knowledgeable in all this as I've only been aware of the dx for a little over 3 months.
But these were suggestions that were given to me - which were helpful.
Best wishes,
Stolen
