Hello,
I have posted questions here before about my GF.
Tonight the main Host was really stressing out and just went away (back inside) and a diffrent person that I know well came out (a 2nd kind of host (Out a lot when the main host is inside)). Anyway, she told me that the main host (Host1) is very far back inside (a place they call the darkness where they can hide and where some are trapped). I was told that When the main host went back she toke one of the self helpers (watchers) with. then this person went away and came back a min later and said she lelt like her mind just split in two parts and then became one again.
My question is, is this something that you think will work it self out in a soft time or is this really bad.

The prognosis for DID is very good. You are fortunate that your GF shares alot of her inner world with you. I wouldn't get too hung up on how she describes her inner experience of herself. I know it probably sounds weird to you, but with time and therapy the sense of splitting will fade.
What are you afraid of?
You might want to ask yourself what your criteria is for having a GF. I'd much rather be with someone who has DID than a personality disorder like narcissism. People who have this kind of a personality are very self-centered, tend to be know-it-alls, hyper sensitive to criticism and can be quite unreasonable to deal with.
They have alot of trouble in relationships.
Maybe you could expand on what your concerns are.
Hope this helps.
