Stepping back and looking at things.

Postby Aecy » Sat Jul 16, 2011 3:02 pm

So. Recently, a relationship with someone I/we loved ended.

Stepping back, adjusting to the lack of a person I conform myself/selves to, and just... letting myself/selves be, instead of attempting to be my selves, [For literally the first time in our life,] if that makes sense, has brought me to this conclusion.

I have DID. But my previous understanding is defunct. I learned a lot about myself/selves through the relationship, but on a large scale, my selves became what we thought we needed to be for him and ourselves instead of just being who and what we are. [We became who and what we need to be for others instead of letting ourselves be who and what we are. ]

Currently, Ayame, Aecy Malice, and Wraith exist, though Wraith is far different from previously thought. Vie is here, though she's more of a little girl. Timothy is basically the same as previously thought. I believe that Ned is a record keeper/planner/"coach" but isn't always around.

The CD player and Foreign also are alters that have been around but didn't bother to allow themselves to be put under scrutiny. Also, they didn't "match" or "fit in" with the relationship with mike, so they were left out. There are very likely other alters who pretended to "fit the system" because they didn't care about whether they were named/known/recognized or not.
[CD player communicates through playing music in our mind. There is a sense of humor present. Foreign speaks in gibbrish mostly and tends to come out when he/she is annoyed. Foreign is sort of proud/aloof.]

We as a whole are going to continue on our current break from the forums until these matters are resolved; I apologize for any misinformation due to our own... lack... of proper perspective and understanding stemming from a desire to be what we wished to be instead of allowing ourselves to be what we are.

At the very least, though, we have finally recognized and accepted the fact that we are who and what we are and it is more productive to just be as we are than it is to attempt to be as we wish to be, I suppose.

I wish you all well in thine endeavors.

Wraith.
I'd prefer to simply not worry about identities.
We're each me, yet not each other. We work together and share information; we're quite co-conscious.

The "three sections/three gatekeepers" theory is holding.
Don't listen too closely to Ned. He thinks too hard. [OCD]
He tends to see only what he expects to see.
