For a Moderator

Postby ZeldaZonk » Thu Jun 30, 2011 8:20 am

Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong way to go about this...
I just added a reply to the thread "Mapping in Therapy" but it didn't get bumped up the line. I wrote the post before that too and it just sort of added it on to that last one instead of creating a new post so maybe that was why. Can you fix it?

Thanks so much for your time, ZeldaZonk.

I can make a post in that thread, saying your last post is a new post, if you want. I don't think there's any other way to do it :(

Edit: Is there a "Bump Topic" button, near the bottom of the page? Where it says "Home", "Board index", "Unsubscribe topic", "Bookmark topic", "Bump topic"...?

I wrote a little note to the Global mods asking them to please change this back to how it use to be. It's so confusing to reply to more than one post in a row and they all get combined.

I am confused enough without this! :?

Yes moderators, please *please* change it back to the way it was before. At least we should be given the option of adding onto our last post or posting a new one. The fact that it automatically adds to our last post (and doesn't bump it to the front automatically) is very frustrating!! How can we change this? Would it be best if we all filed formal complaints?

(i know I'm not the only one who feels this way)

I know, guys. I don't like it, either. I'm trying to find out if there are plans to change it back...

Out smarting the Global Mods....

I would not suggest this, but this change is a bad decision. The more posts usually means a better site. Maybe the OCD group is having issues.

If you want to reply to your own post, and have it move up so it is seen and replied to simply...

Hit edit on your last post. Copy it. Delete it. Make a new post. Copy the info you use to have and now add the new info. Post it. It will go to the top like it should have been.
