A question about dreams (possibly triggering)

Hi, first time poster here. I know it's possible for alters to communicate with you in dreams/share dreams, and I think one communicated with me last night. I didn't think much of it when I woke up, but after further thought, it clicked. I know I have a few fragmented personalities, and this one has come out only once (very briefly at that) but when I put the two together, I immediately realized it could be him. He's somewhat undeveloped I think, but perhaps he was trying to let me know that he was here? We actually got along really well in the dream, but haven't heard or felt anything from him since.

I tried opening up communication with him, and told him he was welcome to come to me in my dreams again. I was just wondering if anybody had experience with this kind of thing before, and if so, can share some stories as to help me expect what's to come with this kind of territory.

Hi. I just posted a thread about one of mine introducing herself in my dream the other day, if you want to read about it. This particular teen has been around ages (in voice/emotion form), but it's the first time there has been such direct interaction. I shared the dream with my therapist and it led to his suggesting he "interview" and get to know everyone inside.

Not long before I knew I had DID, I experienced a dream in which something very mysterious and profound happened to me. I now understand it was my alters' wish for escape from captivity in my mind, and integration. It laid out the course of my spiritual awakening, my birth as a new person.
