I took this test again and scored higher than last time, it was 78 today. I guess my issues with reality have been worsening lately. Hopefully it's temporary "?.

This is my first post here.
I took the test and scored 75.
It's nice to read about your scores too.
Let's say, I am not new to this at all, but I also have not figured everything out either. I have been on this journey for most of my/"our" life, but it's new to me, to seek help for it, to be able to speak about it a bit, etc. In other words, I've known some of my alters for a long time but never saw them for what they are and never played my own "role" in life either. I need to learn how to deal with it better. So anyway, so far, I like this community a lot; There are a lot of insightful people here who really push themselves to heal and find out how they work, which kind of surprised me - in a good way.
I feel a little shy to post and have even already made a lot of replies, only to erase them again before posting, so I thought maybe I better not make a whole topic about me, at least for now anyway. So I hope you guys dont mind me posting along in some threads without proper introduction. I just feel safer in my invisibility and do not like to start new threads (in new groups).
Greetings.

I'm still kinda unnerved about this.

I haven't ever scored below 80. I really shouldn't be that bad off, compared to others here. I really shouldn't. ._.;
I'd prefer to simply not worry about identities.
We're each me, yet not each other. We work together and share information; we're quite co-conscious.

I got a 32, just barely "passing"

I felt like I was being fair but all my alters except perhaps one haven't been active until my recent re-delving into DID. In many ways I honestly wish I hadn't "gotten the whole thing under control" years ago because it would have forced me to do something about the underlying dissociation and abuse long ago. That would have been the real gift. I would have scored under 30 a year ago because I picked the max on "hears voices in your head." I hear them all the time -- which I like. It was tough going it alone!

I'm wondering if this topic shouldn't be elevated to near the top of the list? Considering all the unprepared therapists out there...

Same here. I could have been diagnosed and helped 30 years ago, when I first became aware of my insiders.

Why is it that no matter what 'DID' forum I visit, there are threads like this one? Comparing who has the highest score, who has the highest this and the lowest this, who is more this and ore that. Someone said 'You win' not sure who that was but I think that is exactly what I detest so much.
I wish DID forum members would stop acting like little teenagers and see the seriousness of this illness [and before you say 'it is not an illness!' it is an illness for me]

Even my therapist thinks very little of those kind of DID forums. Who has the worst trauma, who has the worst dissociation, who has got the most alters the list is endless. As someone who suffers from DID, I find this competitive behaviour highly insulting and disrespectful.

I started the thread. My intent was to provide context and normalizing.

Really, if you don't like forums like these, WHY are you here? Are you not seeing the irony in your existence on a forum like this if you don't associate yourself with the people who use it?

No one is comparing who has the worst trauma, or the worst dissociation. If you stopped complaining about everything you would see EVERYONE is doing nothing but trying to help whoever is in need. Whoever is currently surviving their horrible traumatic lifestyles we are all willing to jump to their aid to give them any advice we have. Your words are causing a lot of people to self-doubt and feel that what they are suffering from is fraudulent. Everyone here is suffering very deeply. This forum has saved a lot of people including us who cannot afford therapy, or who isn't getting the right treatment in therapy.

I find your higher than thou nature to be disrespectful.

By the way it's funny that you can speak so low of others and not even take the advice that you quoted in your signature. What a quote to live by, or completely ignore, right?
