So its jay,
Her mom found out about her d.I.d.
It's weird because I've interacted with her mom before but she always thought I was Aneisha. Now I didn't want her to worry about her daughter so much. (After all it is her only daughter) so I wrote her a letter explaining how I was only here to help her daughter cope. I even wrote her a poem about being a great mother. It made her cry. So Aneisha has been sick so I took the liberty of doing the house work and grocery shopping. Her mother met me face to face shortly after. She didn't seem to wanna look at me right away. But after a few awkward moments she finally loosened up and started talking to me. She seems to like me but she needs a lot of reassurance. Does anyone have any advice for a family member of a person with d.I.d. who is meeting her daughters alters for the first time? Any words to help cope or accept. Or any advice you can give me when diving deeper into her family knowing about us as a system?

my only advice is if she is already acting in a promising way then sounds like over time she might just act like its always been this way. I am happy for you she is taking it quite well =]
