The cases are so many that people "think" that they had nothing happen to them traumatic in their life only to find out they have DID and a history of a whole host of things to go with it. Sometimes things are far more hidden and be a better detective. If the clues are there you at least owe it to yourself to follow them to find where they lead.
Check out the book "first person plural" by cam west.
If you do not ask yourself what it is you know, you will go on listening to others and change will not come because you will not hear your own truth.

Hi, Nanashi
If you have alters, they would have been around for some time... you just might not have known about it. There would be little clues here and there. I have problems with certain emotions, too. Can you think of anything else that might be related to DID?
You just might not remember any trauma... that's kind of what DID is for

How do you mean?

I think the female might be related to my mother. She was a evil alcoholic when I was small and beat us (siblings) for little or no reason. She was stressed and angry and took it out on us. She wanted to stop us from hugging on her and said it enough that I vowed never to touch her again. To this day I have never been affectionate with her other than hugging her solely in a joking manner. Other than that, the thought makes me uncomfortable. She took to the male role so the "mother" was left out alot.
The incident with my cousin could tie in with both alts. Thoughts of being gay (when I found out what it was) confused me and made me angry. Even if I didn't know what I was doing, the thought he did doesn't settle well. I don't care if he was 9. He put it in our mouths and enjoyed it for the time it lasted. This might be where my loathing of sexual offenders and pedophiles comes from.
How me and my twin used to play, one being in feminine role and other male fit also. I'm not homosexual but I could say my thinking is more female.
I get jealous when I hear how women are naturally more loving than men.
Hold these thoughts of you close and never forget
In the darkness nothing is clear
Far away, yet in my heart you're near
Let each scar vanish...and believe...forever

Sounds like maybe you did have some trauma that you already do know about there. Definitely some things to explore.

Ah. I also have to say that when I'm angry, I am completely masculine. More than naturally. Not so much in puffing up but, the attitude just seems that way.

I have to go now so I don't have time to answer fully or go in-depth. There are some "little" things unsaid. I'll think on this and get back to you all tomorrow.

See what happens when you make me think? If that's the case, I would prefer not to dig deeper...at least not yet.
