That's a lot of yes's and maybe's.

That happens to me, too... I wonder if it has to do with who's closer to the front

Well, do you ever feel like you're not in control of your body/speech?
ShawneeAlice wrote:See, this is what I don't understand. I read that the people with D.I.D have had horrible childhoods, and as far as I know, my childhood was great. i come from a nice family, financially stable, not abusive at all, so D.I.D. is impossible for me right? I mean sure, theres some memories I never want to re-live, but the parts i remember, my childhood was ideal
Well... not to be Miss Obvious, but you don't really remember your childhood, right? If you don't remember it, you don't know for sure. It's like someone looking from the outside. Anyway, you don't have to have had a horrible childhood, overall. There could have been a family friend or someone who was mean, or you could have seen something traumatic. It doesn't have to be an abusive family.
ShawneeAlice wrote:edit; also, nobody ever talks to me in my body. sure maybe ive heard other people talking to each other [MAYBE] but ive never met anyone else in here.
dont you guys know each other? and stuff D; i just...wouldn't i know? =[
If they're talking to each other, I think that still counts. Maybe you have to be the one who starts talking to them. Yell out (in your head... like thoughts) a hello and introduce yourself, and ask if anyone could talk with you. Or, write a note somewhere they can find it, and ask them to write back. Maybe they will, maybe they won't, but it's worth a shot.
I kind of knew them, but I didn't know they were really there

I don't believe knowing them is a requirement for a DID diagnosis

A lot of people don't know, before they figure it out.
