New and quite terrified

Why hello what's your name. It's not that you're a disease it just means that your body contains more people in it than normal. You're an alter like me. Could you tell us what's going on with all of you. Where is your main. Who else is in there with you. If you can take over this definitely confirms you're DID instead of schizo.

I have a few questions, just to make sure I understand correctly. Do you remember being "Sue", and giving all of that information during the book interview? Your name was legally changed (by someone inside) without your consent?

Schizophrenics usually hear voices externally. People with DID hear voices internally. With schizophrenia, the voices are hallucinations... with DID, the voices are coming from alters (alternate personalities).

If you are not Sue, then you did not take those classes - Sue did. That would explain why you don't remember it.

The term "all in your head" means something isn't real (like watching a documentary on insects and then feeling imaginary bugs crawling on you)... internal dialog isn't the same thing, at all; the voices aren't imaginary.

Your system sounds like it's a mess. Please don't delete the others posts, that's just rude. You should talk to them more and try to get Angel to stop hurting your body. They're real and you have to accept them if anything is going to get better. No wonder Sue left after seeing how you treat each other.

Where do they go? If it's true that everybody shares the same body where can they go? It's not that big.
If it's a matter of feeling safe, why don't I get to feel safe? I wake up to crazy things everywhere and sores. I don't know where to search.
I don't know if anyone else exists.

They can go into a sort of comatose and you don't notice them. They can still hear you. You have to reassure them that everything will be alright. You aren't always in control and the others seem to have done a number on your body.

If you wouldn't mind could you give us a system map. Write down everyone's name and a description of them. Also post your name at the end of comments so we know who is saying what.
