WTF!

Postby LF2010 » Fri Jul 09, 2010 8:35 pm

We are all here now. Listening and just waiting for him to say something so we can snap. I dont want to do this, but we dont care. We arent fake and he needs to see that. Our roommate is saying that he has "MPD" we havent heard it called that in so long, he also has aspergers. Our question is, can he have both?

I don't see why not. People often have more than one mental... illness...? Disorder...? You get what I'm saying :P So I would think those two together would be very possible.

You should really try not to snap. Some people really just will never understand the whole multiple thing...

Your roommate is saying that he has MPD? Or is he talking about you? I think most people know it by MPD... I guess the name is too easy to remember, and now no one (unless they know what they're talking about) really uses DID. A year ago, I had no idea what DID meant... never heard of it named that.

he says that we are all fake and that its an identity crisis. Thats what makes us upset. We were listening, and the doctor that he said that diagnosed him we found out was a pediatric doctor. So we are thinking that he lied. We weren't saying that it wasnt possible for someone who is D.I.D and have aspergers we were just curious to see if it was true. Sometimes he lies a lot. He has even admitted to us that he wont lie unless he finds logic in it, and he said that when he does lie sometimes it just for pure entertainment to see how far he can go. We are sorry for snapping, it's just we dont like being called fake and not real. He says that we should just be ignored and we will go away.

He absolutely can. I have Asperger's (but not everyone in my system does) alongside many other things. And there are things people in my system have that does not affect the rest of us. DID is rarely seen on its own.

Keeps buzzing at the sill. Which I is I?"

He doesn't sound like a very nice person :?

Maybe the doctor jokingly said he acted like he had multiple personalities, or something :P

I'm new here so you don't know me, but i just wanted to say that handling a system is complicated enough without having to try handling others at the same time. You need to take care of yourselves and you have nothing to prove, especially to someone who is apparently too self-absorbed to listen. I'm relatively confident that most of my very best friends would not take the possibility of DID seriously, and that's why we know that we"ll be better off dealing with it on my own. i agree with Canoline, just ignore him, and if he ever says anything about you acting weird, let him come to his own conclusions.

And yes, I think he could have both, I strongly suspect that one of my dormant others has BPD :?
