everybody say tat i sound the most like Victoa tan anybowy else in ouw swstem wen i contwl the way i twlk i want to know if it commin for alters to b able to sound exactalwy like their first as much as i do ( i sound the same no kidddin at awl)

Hello Mai. I'm Rae. I have an alter that everyone confuses for me because she sounds almost exactly like me. So you're not alone. But the funny thing is...Laia (that particular alter) and I are like night and day. Total opposites. So to answer your question, I don't think it's strange and most people probably do have an alter that sounds like them, even if they act differently. C:

i agree, you might sound the same, but facial expression maybe different, and/also mannerisms, behavior can be very different.

It can be confusing at first for anyone.

yeah...Norma is totally different then me in manners and everything. She dont sound like me either. her voice is deeper

Sabrina sounds like me, but a little deeper. Ker can sound identical to me when she needs to but normally we're very different sounding. Both Ker & I & Sabrina & I are extremely different!

Hi Mai! As far as we're concerned, it's perfectly normal for people in a system to be able to sound like their first. We think this is because the body we all share only has one voice box and one mouth. Some of us sound a bit different, some of us sound a LOT different, but you can still hear the body's voice underneath it all. And when we have to, most of us can sound like the body.

Well, when you're talking to one another in your system, you will sound very different (or the same, as you do) and there may be a lot of similarities with some people's voices and the body's voice and there may be those who sound nothing like the body when they're talking to one another not using the body's voice. This is all totally normal. Sometimes some of us wish we could sound just like ourselves using the body's voice to speak to other people because it can get hard when we hear ourselves using this body to talk and we think, "I sound nothing like that! Eww!"
