Uggggh. I once had a friend call with this, "Can I talk to Becka? She's so much easier to talk to about certain things than you are." She didn't even say hi or ask how I was. She just spouted that out.

Reminds me of the trouble I got in last week with Leigh's mother. Two days into taking an antidepressant she asked, "Do you feel happy yet?" A couple of hours later she had a cookbook open and before I could stop myself I was like, "Can you cook worth a damn yet?"

Leigh - i'd have hung up &/or found her and smacked her one upside her head. I kinda know the feeling tho as Ker has a more diplomatic side than I do, she can be favoured for certain conversations.

I've been asked why I don't just tell my alters to go away to become a single (or normal) person.

Don't think anyone realizes that I might actually not want to be a singleton. Boring!! and who am I gonna laugh at people with when I'm "alone"?

Oh, we're no longer friends with her. Between that kind of crap (after telling her MANY times how rude that is) and general self-absorption (like a sponge, I tell ya), we couldn't deal with her anymore.

I hate when people ask stuff like why don't we integrate and be "normal"! This is "normal" to us. And without being multiple I'm pretty sure I'd pretty much end up in a padded room wearing a special jacket. If not just outright die.

Oh gees. I just remembered this crap, and it was from someone who claims to have DID. I was very nervous about an appointment I had to go to and this person asked, "Can you decide to be someone else and then go as them?" Can you decide to use a little more of that stuff between your ears???
