i'm ok i guess. it's hard to know, i always have to take a poll. my physical health really sucks right now. i have hemochromotosis, and they are having trouble keeping my iron count down, and leaving me enough blood to live on. been dizzy sick and keep passing out. they've had to put me on some pretty heavy duty drugs to keep the pain tolerable. haven't been well enough to go see mom. struggling addicts keep the the phone ringing constantly. aaaaaaaaaaaah! oh well.

i am sooooo glad i could finally get back to you guys! our computer was on the fritz. sure missed you guys! wow, lots of new names on the forum. did you see on tv. that hershal walker came out about having d.i.d.? strange. i've heard russell crow has d.i.d. too.

hope you are doing well. you have been a great help to me. it's been hard on me lately. probably should be in therapy, maybe i'll go back who knows. it's amazing how well i can be doing one minute, then turn into a psycho mess the next. hard to believe we're all related, much less in the same body.

thanks for asking lark, that means a lot!

No problem! We missed you!
I know how that emotional rollercoaster can be, we seem to be riding one this week. Yesterday we were sad, and today we are happy. And the day before we took a mental health day... but we are feeling better.
I am sorry to hear about your physical ailments, I hope the docs can figure it out for you.
I didnt hear about those actors having DID. What a huge step for for the DID community!! I will have to follow up on that story!
Take Care,
Amber

I am really saddened by the comments that some ignorant singletons wrote on that article.
Some saying that it is a rich and famous disease, and that they use it as an excuse to do wrong.
I DEFINITELY am not rich... and really an excuse... I want credit for all the ideas I come up with, and my extra long super woman work day... I want credit... the people making these comments are assholes.

yuck, what a nightmare! i would have commented, but it would be a waste of time. i'd rather communicate with "real" people here. strange many in the outside world see d.i.d. as a handicap. the more i learn about them, i realize, it is they who are handicapped.

It makes me angry that only ignorant uninformed people comment and they have absolutely no idea what they are saying!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR~~
But we all know who is better anyways... so it shouldn't matter...

that's right! i think we are better. let's face it, we have the insight of several different people. we are never one sided. we have to keep an open mind, and think of others. always taking our own inventory. it is hard to live with d.i.d., but who said living is easy. yep, i think the benefits far out weight the negatives. :D

looks like i will be going back to therapy. i've been real stressed out lately, so the doc. thinks it would be a good idea. esp. since i've been taking some strong pain killers for my back. that alone can make me feel anti social. tried calling my old therapist dr h., but found the number was no longer in service. he's either changed his # or retired. hope he's still working. he's the first t' i was able to open up to since moving to tn. and i really don't want to go over the abuse crap all over again with someone new. oh well, we'll see. how are you doing? spring break should be coming soon. got any plans?

Unfortunately we had spring break early this semester... right smack in the middle and it is making for a very very long semester. Fortunately finals are right around the corner and I have almost made it through... THANK GOODNESS!!

I think if you can find the right therapist then you will have an easy time going back to therapy. I am kind of down on therapy at the moment which may be the whole reason I have been a bit more down this week. My therapist switched my appointment to the week that I was off and I already had something scheduled on that day and now we cant see her at all because she has already scheduled someone else in our regular time slot and now we are out a time. I am sad and frustrated by this but feel like there is nothing I can do. I wish she wouldn't have changed our appointment without consulting us first ;(
