Jorja, I hope that things keep improving step by step for you. I don't know if you've done this already, but you might put a hold on talking about your past until you tell your therapist that you're having some trust issues with him and that he is triggering you at this point in your treatment. He should know what you're going through and where you are, and he may not be surprised that he is a trigger for you. He may have some kind words and suggestions to improve your ability to trust him, or it may just take time. Regardless, it might help him know where you stand if you just bring it out into the open and lift a bit of the weight from your shoulders.

Thank you Chickadee,

In the time between posting and finding your reply, it seems the feelings he provokes had been set aside and life took over and me away from my treatment.

Your suggestion makes sense to me , feeling so vulnerable and open to the vagueries of others in my life just now, wish so much the control i seek was easier to find.

Tomorrow is therapy day , so coming across this today is so helpful.

You are right, he does need to know, also that the feelings being raised , making me question every relationship i have with others is pulling the ground from under my feet .

Will post and let you all know how it goes tomorrow and whether i can find some part of me who will be adult and let him know, also find something to help me through the next week.

Jorja

thank yous !!

Today went ok, therapy was a bit draining but did manage to cover the important stuff, talking about how he makes me feel helped a little but also raises more questions for another session. Not ones am feeling very brave about facing, all in good time tho i guess.

We talked about my friend and her behaviour, although can nt remember if there was any real outcome to that, other than feeling a bit better for sharing.

Otherwise, it seemed to go ok, some bits missing like usual and lots of much better feelings about being multiple.

Now feeling like am coming to terms with my gang , which is what they prefer to be called! Not the menacing kind we hope, just a group of kids who seem to be coming out more often. The other scary part of this!

For tonight with thanks and love to all for the encouragement and good reminders of the importance of sharing with t.

((((((Jorja!)))))) It's great that you can communicate with them and you're coming to terms with it. I'm happy for you. It sounds like therapy is going to be helpful
