Cold announces her arrival

Postby Pookie Bear » Sun Jan 27, 2008 11:09 pm

Seems lately, when the darker of my alters is coming to visit, I get really cold. A bone chilling, shivering inside, cold feeling comes over me. I start to shake on the inside, a dark cloud seems to pass over my heart and then she is there. She gets angry and impatient, cussing alot, clenches her jaw.
I don't like when she comes around. She is so negative and cruel. But only to the rest of us. She will be snappy and short with my g/f but nothing more. To us, she is our worst critic, nothing is ever good enough. My bff named her "Jett", fitting name for such a dark presence.
See yourself confronting your fears in your mind's eye and handling those fears like a champ

I used to have an alter called Jake, he was a depressed teenaged boy who was very philosophical and a bit emo really (so not quite as dark as your alter Jett) But anyway, every time he came around, I would get tingling shivers up and down my spine, sometimes in my arms and legs too. Like the kind you'd get when someone breathes on the abck of your neck, only nobody was there in physical form.

I think this is about the closest I can relate to your feelings of cold.

Although, when my darkest alter comes round, I can usually tell because of the intense feeling of wanting to escape, to fly, to fall. Like I'm being lost inside a bubble. It's kinda like the aura you get before a migraine. I'll be thinking about escaping and flying off somewhere, and then WHAM he'll be there.

I think if you are experiencing problems with Jett, try and pinpoint tghe 'aura' before she arrives and then you might be able to deal with the situation a little more, hope this helps? ^_^
-- So what then is this I?
Right now, as you read this, does it amount to anything more than a collection of thoughts and memories which are just transitory, and come and go in the mind like clouds in the sky? --
