Thanks for sharing this. This is such a great interview and I LOVE that her partner was so understanding in time and supportive like that.

That’s really good, as older hosts (HostLK) we found it easier to identify with this lady being older. (she’s like 10 years older than our body).
Our remanining system works similar to this NOW ….however we did have hosts in the past with amnesia between them so ones doing university etc had no awareness of others. I don't know if this was a protective thing so they couldn’t reveal the others to anyone if they didn’t know they existed.
I think due to things that happened in younger years many of our insiders carried a fear of being ‘locked up’ if someone realised we ‘weren’t normal’ and afraid that we may have something like schizophrenia because we had ‘others inside’ we could talk to (well some could when they came and took over as host)
We had a small family of ‘insiders’ that always lived together inside (LS & Bobby always lived with Phoenix & Sue.) but there were some new ones we discovered when going through the menopause so whether they had always been there but hidden or were just new splits created from going through peri we’re not sure! some have re-integrated with Lily, mainly ones who previous role was only to be a social host as we’re mainly housebound now.
I don’t think we’d get a DID dx now and we seem to be down to a smaller core group which is mainly ones that used to come out more in situations where they could be themselves but spend most of their life hidden away when 'our masks' had engage in work and study commitments in order to prove ourselves ’normal’ ..I guess the fact that we can still see that part of life ’another hosts life’ can only be explained by some level of dissociative disorder?

This was a really interesting video. The lady is 6 years older than me and it was nice to hear how she has managed it. Mine has changed over time but i have been so reluctant to delve into the others and allow them out and to garner cooperation that i am not where she is.
I loved the way she talked about it without shame. Although she seems to have kept it from most of her friends she appears to happily function socially.
Great video - thanks for sharing the lind
Diagnosed DID with a few other states.

What I never understood is that alters have concept of age. For me, self-diagnosed OSDD, alters are more like different modes of living formed when mind found use for certain mode. Hence, age of every alter is the same as body. This makes me doubt having OSDD.
