Can alters have different MBTI type?

Postby AW10 » Mon Jul 08, 2024 1:34 pm

I do not know has it been asked before, but I notice that my MBTI type changes when I switch my states aka alters.

My MBTI also changed a lot between identity state and now I'm at a middle ground that's so close from the middle that it should be its own MBTI xD

Joke aside, every alter has a different access to the abilities of the brain which can be reflected on their MBTI results. These results will evolve through time as each alter learns new skills. Some can keep a very specific way of thinking while others can do a full 180 (gradually through time, it's not as sudden as flipping a pancake!)

Absolutely! We are all different people, and that's no different for alters.

In fact several of us did one of those online tests to see what we'd come out and it was interesting to see where were similar and where we were really different.

This is a link to an image of the results for us (note, Matthew is me, Zor).

I have a co-front situation. What comes out is agreement of two alters, one being ISTP other INTP.

I am not sure what I would say to people, if I am ever asked, what type I am.

Maybe I[X]TP ? Since three of them are consistent and one fluctuates.

I don't doubt that it's possible. It makes me tempted to test that out with my own sometime.
