Does anyone have tips for how to answer questions on psych tests, like personality quizzes or the formal psych tests? The last time we did a full workup back in college, it took us 5 hours to get through all of them because we were argueing over practically every answer. When different alters have different responses, what do you put on the tPiest?
Has anyone done repeat tests "as" specific alters to compare or find out more about them? It took us years of growing co-consciousness and a fairly stable host to feel comfortable trying to "average" our answers to speak for the whole system. It still feels really kludgy to do so.
And that doesn't even account for whatever information/feelings are not available to the one answering questions at the time...
how have other systems handled this?

Hey,
Was a bit easier for us because there has only been a max of 5 of us at one time and the 5th didn't even last long to begin with. Was more of a fragment than a full individual.
Back when there was little awareness it'd be a struggle to answer these tests properly. It'd be more like: first come, first serve. First answer that popped up was the one that would go. That has resulted in inaccurate test results, so we tried debating the middle ground and thar worked better but often resulted into arguing.
Lately we've just all taken the test for ourselves. There's only 3 of us so that makes it easier. Then we pick out the things we all agree on and focus on those to describe the main personality.
But I personally feel we're getting closer to being either merged or a functional multiplicity, so I don't think what we do is quite so simple for others with alters.

Personnality quizzes: first come gets the whole quiz. If needed, the quiz is done a few times for different identities.
Important psy tests: middle ground and/or what is more predominant in the daily life. If possible (paper test) the answer is given in detail such as : "most of the time this, sometimes that"

Hi,
We HATE taking tests! We have a rule that only one person takes the test based on what the test is about - functioning (Host), personality (Iain), ability (Colin), etc. Got to front the right part for the test. Of course we have trouble remembering who took the test the first time so re-tests are kind of bad.
Iain
Iain - 14, Colin - 17, Evan - 7, Cody - 16, & Host - the adult out front
When they say 'be yourself',
which one do they mean?
