Greetings from The Overlook Hotel System

Hi! I'm Carrie! I'm the host of The Overlook Hotel System! Our recent headcount is 12! We joined this to make more friends and possibly get advice!

Hi Carrie, I'm Violette. I'm the host of the Theta System. At the moment, we number 47. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Overlook Hotel from a movie?

Yes! I, the host, is a big fan of Stephen King and with some convincing we decided on The Overlook Hotel System from The Shining! It was the only thing we could think of.

Welcome! Our name Tri-Force references the Triforce from the Zelda franchise. However it also refers to how our system has always functioned with our 'natal soul' (as we now call them), a shell host (social mask alters - there have been several over 'our life') and a changeling (several of those too!) working together to navigate the outside world!

I (Lily) currently function as host for daily living stuff and am 'the personality' that outside people would currently meet when meeting us out in the outside world but do not see myself as the original owner of the physical body...we refer to that 'self' as 'the natal soul' (NS) ..ie the child originally born into the body. I only have actual memories of the 'entire life' when NS is blended with me but do retain 'past history' info incase outside people refer to past events one of us attended.

Our system got its name from Doctor Who. It's kind of an obscure reference. The Doctor's nickname at the Time Lord Academy was Theta Sigma. One of our friends called us Theta going back to before we knew we are a system and it's just stuck.

Our 'home' though is a music hall in this great big city. In the music hall, there are doors that lead to various other realms. Most of those are worlds where our fictives are from, and where they feel most at home.
