Because people refuse to see and refuse to protect. Because people do not believe children with autistic or ADHD traits. Because dissociated and traumatized parents sometimes dissociate when their child is in distress instead of helping and protecting.

what does adhd or autism have to do with it. i'm talking about a baby/small child who is being hurt. and.. and my therapist says not to talk to them about the trauma and ... but ... some seemed to want to tell me. and one inside a small child said he.. as she talked she said he ra... he wap......me.. i have no memory i am completely amnesic to any SRA or Any s*xual abuse.

So I am just wondering based on what i've heard ....... my parents were very young.. they came from difficult background, but they were ... couldn't have been oblivious. :l

i've been researching abuse, DID, etc for years. I have been doing it first for a friend I had and then for myself cause i had no idea I had DID myself.

Just feels confusing, but anyway i'm going off here for now. :O(

Why does your therapist say not to talk to them about the trauma? Is this the same therapist who says you need to "integrate" (fuse) as soon as possible? I don't think you can trust anything they say about how to manage DID because they don't seem to know how to treat it. There are treatment guidelines online--the ISSTD treatment guidelines for adults. All the alters are equally important, and if there's a little who wants to tell you what happened, and you don't feel too overwhelmed by the information, then you should let them.
Parents can definitely be oblivious to trauma and abuse happening to their child under their eyes, and often they are the perpetrators of that trauma themselves.
