I just finished translating a documentary about DID.
It is here (split in four parts, because YouTube doesn't allow more than 15 min. unless you authorise yourself)
*** see end of post for trigger warnings ***:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMwDlmc8 ... p_play_allI have worked about two full days on it, I'm really proud of it. But there are probably a lot spelling / grammar / language / translation errors, so feel free to PM me

. If you want the raw subtitle source, I can send it as well.
(I have never subtitled a movie before, but I have once done some translation work the other way round.)
The original (untranslated) is here:
http://www.uitzendinggemist.nl/afleveringen/1259055(legal thing: it doesn't belong to me, I just translated it to help other people)
It is about a person having DID, who is followed for 3 years.
It was the first time I came in contact with DID. I found it very interesting, but I didn't expect anything at that time...
Here is a list of potential (strong) triggers:
- Denial/doubt/non-acceptance of the diagnosis whenever the parents are talking.
- Mentions of the cause throughout the video (but not detailed)
- 25:30-30:30 talk about a suicidal personality (including getting it to front) (starts at part 3, and continues till 5:00).
- ~28:00 a few seconds talk about what that personality wants to do
- 29:00-30:25 too much sticking to rules and not taking responsibility (I don't know whether that may trigger, but anyway.)
- 33:50-35:00 talk about two failed suicide attempts (warning: with details. part 3; 8:15-9:25)
- 36:05-38:50 talk about how the sexual abuse happened, but not very specific (the most sensitive parts are avoided, mostly about when it happened) (part 3; 10:30-13:20)
- 41:55-42:25 father wants to take revenge (in a very creepy way...), but won't do that (part 4; 2:15-2:50)
