we have been home for a few days now and are getting better, though it feelsl ike nothing is happening somedays and any slightly high temperature has us worried.
Saw surgeon today about pain after surgery, and he's going to talk to the doctor who looks after our pain in hospital. Hopefully something will be worked out, though what's been suggested so far might not be appropriate due to it being an antidepressant which would interact with our MAOI inhibitors. Really hope it can be taken though, this pain is unbearable, and is causing a depressive episode. Hopefully this won't cause another hospitalisation (either through needing another surgery or effects of the depressive episode or effects of the medicine).

Hope everyone is doing ok, I'm in the middle of looking for a new game to play, going to give Persona 3 Reload a try, hopefully playing as a teenage boy won't trigger my immense fear of men, though since SPider-Man 2 didn't I should hopefully be ok. Sadly Yakuza 7 and Ghost of Tsushima didn't go ok.

Good night,
Dorothea

We're sorry that you're still in pain. Hopefully that gets sorted out soon.

And we understand about the games issue. We can't play games with a fixed male protagonist either. It causes either the trauma or the gender dysphoria or both to flare up. Angel can do it, and has, but the rest of us can't.

Take care and be well,
Violette

We are so sorry that you're enduring all of this. We assume that the doctors don't know why you're in so much pain?

We wish you could feel better.

All the support and well wishes.

Glad your out of hospital!! I hope they sort out your pain soon...it's awful being in constant pain we get how it completely wears you down emotionally, same here for us sometimes. The constant Tinnitus we get wears us all down too think thats why we switch so often!

We haven't played any of those games but Bobby had wanted the Avatar:Frontiers of Pandora game (from the movie) since its first announcement but we didn't have either the PS5 or a windows computer.

With the threat of our money getting stopped B. hunted online for a PS5 with disk drive and a physical copy of the game cos if they did cut our money (we still may have to pay some back) we wouldn't get opportunity to buy one again for ages.

So we got it but it's taken days to download with our snail pace Broadband! Managed it eventually but we won't be getting any more games for it until we can find a faster Broadband package! (seems its not like Switch with most of the game on the cartridge/disk and been able to just put it in console and play!). They should be able to play it offline (single player) anyway for now until we finish sorting out our money and see if we can still afford a better internet package!

Yuna

p.s. Forgot to say....In Avatar game you can choose to be male or female (after the opening cut scenes) and choose your colouring (shades of blue), hair, face shape, voice and Na'vi war paint markings... (limited at start-up but it's there) Think you unlock more as you go further into the game and meet more tribes.

Hi Wendy,

We do hope they find the cause. We do wonder if you might be having an autoimmune response. Women (including trans women) are more susceptible to having autoimmune disorders and those could cause swelling and fever.

Take care,
Violette

Hi Violette,
I have been thinking/worried about that. Hopefully it is not that, though a line infection would be bad too. The options for what it could be are narrow though due to it going on for over a week now

In other news, I think maybe we've made some progress with DID. Able to access some of our childhood memories today. Hope it doesn't mean our host from then is gone

Hi Dorothea,

We do hope that it gets sorted soon as a line infection sounds really bad.

Regarding your host disappearing...that may not be what happened. Our previous host went inside because she couldn't handle the world without our mom. This lead to some issues for us when we first had this happened. Bri comes out from time to time still. So, it's quite possible that your host has just gone inside for now and is being quiet.

Hopefully you all get that figured out in the near future too.

Take care,
Violette
