my favorite cd...

Postby Pookie Bear » Mon Sep 24, 2007 9:39 pm

So I am listening to The Cure and working myself through some anxiety I was starting to feel. "Disintegration" is one of my fav all times CDS EVER! "Plainsong" just sends me into a zone where the cave dweller can't get to. The music touches me and energizes me. I actually sometimes dance my silly little dance but shhhh, don't tell anyone.
I wonder does anyone else have certain songs or cds that banish the evil alters?
I only know that for some reason this CD keeps mine away.

There is one artist in particular and whenever his music is playing i can finally relax. His music also stirs very deep and healing emotions in us. George Winston and his piano music. We could listen to is everyday and it would still have the same effect.

The Cure ROCKS!
For me...Jewel's second CD "Spirit" aids in demon destruction.
The less I seek for some definitive, the closer I am to fine

80's rock and 70's disco "banish" my evil alters. They actually set me in a good mood, even though I'm depressed. Although, as soon as they go off, the effect wears off.

Here's where I put my music on, if you care.

My Project Playlist

Particularly -

I Ran (So Far Away) - Flock of Seagulls
The Mountain of King - Digital Boy with Asia
Vacation - The Go-Go's
What I Like About You - The Romantics
Hold On Loosely - .38 Special
Only a Lad - Oingo Boingo

The Beatles, the Police, and similar music to that work for me too.

Peace,
Mike

Welll... my evil alters are securely locked up, so I don't have to worry about them coming out or a need ease them away. But what makes ME feel good is loud, wild, punk rock. My most favorite band (ignoring the blasphemy that was their most recent album) is Against Me!, who play folk-punk. I also like angry, screaming, raging hardcore bands like Minor Threat, Gorilla Biscuits, Black Flag, Outbreak, and Blood For Blood. Angry music calms me down :D

the music

Postby Deadseason » Sun Oct 07, 2007 5:28 am

Music can either set me off....or save my soul.....

powerful powerful stuff.

good me listens to DOWN and PANTERA

bad me listens to sheryl crow doing 1st cut is the deepest......or most of the new hits albumactually.........or even worse....sarah Mclauchlan......(spelling?) i put that on......it spells trouble.

the thing is......i have no idea when the channels flip for me.
I simply become instantly and unaware. Need to be educated indepth as to this dx. and the how's why's......i just know music is amazing.......i listen to ANYTHING if it's good.....music is life. and potentially the opposite. damn powerful.
