Dunno if your visualization technique can completely heal something that needs meds but such things are known to help against pain and to reduce inflammations so it does help. Don't forget to check with a doctor as a complement.

Dr did say it could just be from getting too dehydrated and we have been drinking more too. They will be coming back to take more blood and repeat the tests after being on the new dose for a few weeks.

Stress-wise not being a good day. today! ..letter from dept of benefits...2 days notice to phone them about compliance interview!! ...no email address on letter only a phone number if you need to tell them you won't be able to answer the phone! ...and they have to receive notification before the appointment or you get your money stopped if they ring and you fail to answer!

Spent all day hunting on internet for any kind of email to any dept that could maybe help and pass on a message..finally after 4 hours of hunting and coming across someone else's post online we found one where they answered and said they would pass message onto relevant dept!

We can now only hope relevant person will email us back to let us know they will instead send out forms for us to fill in! ...not even going to bother take BP today!

I'll bet its back up to where it was if not higher! ..I'll wait until after we've had confirmation they're not going to cut off our finances before we try again!

Gosh the administration is a mess and a pain in the behind in every country. Only a phone number and nothing else? WTF? That's so surreal! Hope this mess gets cleared out.

This is Bobby and Jess.

We are having a bit of crisis... again the medication delivery has not turned up and no reply back from the person from benefits office who wants us to answer phone tomorrow or cut our money.

Sue has left the front in tears cos she tried her best to sort stuff but felt she failed (though we told her it wasn't her fault that other people had let us down).

I managed to find the pharmacy online and its like a chain they have chemists all over the place same name...I sent head office an email cos local one has only a phone number! it closed now so...won't get any today but will also send message to GP's again first thing in the morning to tell them our medication has not turned up again! we have no thyroxine delivered for the last 3 months from this chemist!

The nurse did come back to retake our bloods and it worked first time this time. But we're confused cos the pharmacy's website said they used courier service or the post to deliver but we are only down the road and sure it was the same local guy who delivered when they last did turn up last october. No-one has told us that anything has changed.

Dr's surgery said they had put the prescriptions in and given us the dates when next prescriptions are due today was one, but nothing. I don't know what else we can do? ..we can buy from abroad to make sure we definitely have some but we're supposed to be able to get it free in our own country cos we need it for life and cos of our disabilities get it delivered free of charge too.

Everything is just constantly frustrating trying to communicate with people and make them understand we can't just 'phone someone!'

Jess is trying to help me feel a bit calmer and write calm messages to copy and paste to doctors tomorrow too but Kit is furious! .....stuff like this proves her right that we can't trust anyone and we should prepare for no-one helping us get medication or when they cut off our money cos we won't be able to answer the phone tomorrow!

Kit says she will buy us another years thyroxine from abroad tomorrow while we have some money and make sure we got enough meds for our dog ..then we just got to hope we can sort this out before we run out of money..(cos if this guy suspends money its not just one benefit it will be housing benefit etc for our rent too , council tax relief and disability benefit)

These kinds of things makes us all want to say 'inside' (inner world not just in the house) and no-one wants to host!

I am Kathy I've been sent to try and help Bobby out front to cope with all the stress this week.

The others are ok but they're really struggling with anxiety and emotional mood swings and it's making it harder for the ones at the front. The menopause supplements aren't having as much effect because our thyroid levels are out due to the medication issues.

so its been decided all the ones that were really impacting the ability to cope would go into temporary stasis to help us keep the front more stable throughout this week...as we maybe required to deal with another complete stranger in the house to sort out this money situation.

Hopefully the system will re-stabilise once we've got our medication sorted and the benefits situation resolved.

Thank you...some medication did get delivered yesterday evening just before they closed as the GP surgery must have got onto them again but we are not happy with their (the chemists) service at all!

I have messaged the pharmacy we planned to move to and told them we have got this months now but can they still start from next month. At least then the money that would have been spent by getting a years supply from abroad can now go on rent incase our money did get stopped on Friday.

Unfortunately the benefits people still have not replied at all to let us know whether they got our message in time so we can only wait and check the bank on the date it was meant to go in, to see if it does or not. If that payment doesn't go in then we can assume our rent won't get paid this month either.

LS, J & B did manage to get a food shop re-ordered this weekend so that should be enough to get us through a couple of weeks and it will arrive before this expected 'snowbomb' hits our part of the country.

It's just the stress of not knowing, when they could have ended it by just sending a short reply... eg 'we have received your email/message and will contact you by post' or something.

..our benefits system is a nightmare to try and get on, they're really quick to cut you off but put you through months of waiting to find out whether they'll put you (back) on it, even if you are lucky enough to get it 'first time' (without needing to appeal decisions etc).

It's just the thought of all the stress we'd have to go through if they have and not knowing for another week or so yet (until the date the money is meant to be paid in) ....whether we still have any money coming in!

Hi..Yuna here

This week has been so stressful it caused Jess to split, she really struggled to hold human form. She tends to prefer canine or non-human fictive characters as her 'inner body' and often likes to take Na'vi form (from the movie franchise Avatar) except with black/white/grey markings instead of shades of blue. She will return to her role as Inner World Guardian and we can still communicate with her.

Bobby also did really well, despite the amount of stress they did not self-injure and instead managed to put together a letter of complaint (with Jess's help) to the benefits agency and post it. We finally got an email back from the complaints dept confirming they had received our original email in time before the compliance call and have not stopped our money. However we still now have to wait for a letter in the post to see what they do want to know!

Little Susie certainly deserves a mention for coping out front as long as she did with the others to help her and communicated well on here too (Littles boards) We told her we're all very proud of her and managing to order food in before it snowed. She got her snow day playing with Mr Woof in the garden and her cream bun treat, so has gone back inside happy and feeling very proud of herself too for helping us all with 'big stuff'

Sue doesn't feel 'outside life' is for her, (not as full-time host) she enjoys some parts but didn't relaise how much the world has changed since she was last the host and feels overwhelmed easily, trying to behave as NT as possible for everyone else's benefit. She really feels happier been on the inside taking care of the littles but will come out to visit as she loved the sunrises and visiting the lake and feeling close to our brother again.

so here we go again !!.... my turn to try now!! ..I have Kathy with me ..... she is an integration of Juno and Kate (the part of Kate that split off from Jess).

Jay split from Bobby and I have Jay integrated within me .....Bobby is still carrying memories from Jay though too and the experience of living and functioning as an adult although B has aged down to a younger age again it is not as young as 10 (around mid 20's I think) and has returned inside with Jess.

I'm not sure whether Kit is just remaining inside in stasis or will eventually re-integrate within Bobby (Kit was a split off Bobby originally due to trauma at the time of being in the autism unit).

We are using the name Yuna to mean us both working together as one, with the 'YA' coming from Kathy's name and 'UN' coming from our original birth name. With other smaller fragments from both halves of life too integrated I am starting to feel more like 'I' recognise the life as an whole as 'mine' and the current legal name as 'representing us all'.

I think we understand what is happening now though as different alters find who they feel most comfortable with and in what role. It's like everyone is trying to 'mix and match' to see where they fit to create the whole that the outside world see's as 'me'.

I have always hoped the system would settle down by the time we reached official menopause, it's still a few months off but this situation with benefits particuarly if there's a possibility we have to have a face to to face meeting with them may 'force the issue' as to who will be the host that represents the legal name.

At the same time the stress from the situation is triggering frequent switches no-one manages to stay out for even a full day as we struggle to work out who we are and what we like/want/believe in etc.
We struggle with continuity ...not so much on this forum as its specifically for DID and any one of us can post but with other areas of life where one may have previously joined a 'specific interests group' and made friends then disappeared before another host took over with no interest in their interests so just stopped going on.

This still seems our biggest obstacle as far as relationships go, the only outside person everyone has sworn allegiance to maintain relationship with is our sibling due to the promise to our mother plus any pets any one of us have adopted during their time out hosting.

It's frustrating to say the least and we all have different views on it!
