'The system' so far

Ok so this seems to be us - or the one's that want to now front and communicate with others so far.

The 'original host' - Susan
Child Alters - Susie (6), Bobby (10) Phoenix (12)
Teens - Kit (16), Jody (19) - collectively we are the 'family group' the ones' nearest to the front (at this moment in time) though we don't front in public.

Sioux - Caretaker alter, not sure why Kit chose that name! ..but am being told we can't put what we call her on here because it's also the real name of the real mother!
she is also an introject (like Jody) in the image of the Susan's mother. She can age slide to match the age of Susan so they can come out front as twins and share responsibility of the body. Susan calls her 'mummy' inside but when they blend as one to front they call themselves 'Suki'

Sioux has hosted before for official appointments to help us and then just takes on 'the legal name'.
Suki has being host to go visit the sibling and family home and do early morning dog walks.

Dormant - Thea, Hosted part-time between ages 16-19, full time host 21, she appeared the age of the body whilst hosting until the bodies late twenties. She was not aware of being a multiple. She knew she was 'different' and put it down to the autism which she tried to suppress using the 'deafness' to mask it. She made a brief re-appearance (for about a year or two part-time) in the early 30's before 'Maddie' took over as host.

'Maddie' - originated as a social media persona who was a combination of Thea and Sioux working together, she then seemed to split off again from them.. Thea and Sioux returned inside and Maddie became a completely 'different self' - she hosted full time as RL host and SM Persona for about 12 years. Bereavement, a breakdown in relationship and depression led to Maddie retreating back inside and choosing to stay dormant.

I'm being told there are 2 males inside too that are seperate alters (not a version of self -'susan'). They seem to 'live deeper' and don't come out. They don't wish to be identified so we won't name them. I guess they could be the ones playing the role of 'gatekeeper' and persecutor and/or protector???? but that's just a guess at this stage.

'The Changelings' seem to be Susan's childhood system, maybe because she wouldn't understand or they didn't want to frighten her further (as she seemed to find life confusing and scary enough) they appeared to have presented in whatever form Susan seemed to take a liking to (ie a vulcan child so she could switch off emotions to stop bullies making her cry).

Phoenix is a changeling who says she choose to become and stay a child alter who can age slide to keep the youngest 'Susie' company on the inside. she says there are others that only simply come out to do a job then go back inside, (eg type, learn to drive, remember how to pay for things online) if the 'host' is struggling and there are others changelings who can appear as animals on the inside so the 'littles' can interact with animals. I'm not sure if this is what you call 'fragments'? as they're aren't 'a version of self' or a full seperate alter?

Nice! We're still working up the courage to put any of our names on here. I think the idea of having a separate name while blending is interesting. I'm the host and I'm still learning, but to me the way I understand "being blended" is that others are required to somewhat blend with me to be in the body but its more like we're two separate people riding a horse together and both holding and able to pull the reins. But it doesn't fully feel like our consciousnesses have merged completely just that they feel super close. I wonder if others experience blending differently, or maybe if I'm calling something blending that isn't blending.

I think. what you are describing is known as 'co-hosting' or being co-conscious so its more like one is 'up front' and one is just behind? the one 'up front' is the one controlling the body and the other is kind of like able to see through their eyes and make suggestions ? like 'passive influence?' I could be wrong..we're fairly new to this too!! ..at least I (Jody) am!

I work that way too when our 'littles' come out with me, but some of our team are able to blend as one before coming up front so they are effectively both controlling the body together like...more like what conjoined twins would?

None of our 'inside names' reflect our current legal name which is why we decided it was fairly safe but we only 'come out' to answer individually on this specific forum. we don't have SM account in any of our names or the legal name and where we have gone on a more general forum a another different name has been used.

Our system seems to be very different to most of yours! Maybe who we are is not DID??

Many of us are 'changelings' That means in our natural form we look like a white spirit figure, our human body form starts off as a child shaped body with no 'sexual attributes' this is so we can blend into the body we are going to occupy regardless of what gender or age it is and 'become them'. There are alot of us but we are nameless (except for me who chose to be the child's companion many years ago). 'Susie' named me.

Some of our ANP 'hosts' are introjects. They aren't changelings. They stay a fixed age because they are like a 'capture' of a person or character at that moment in time. eg Jody will always be 19.

Susie, Bobby, & Kit are what we call 'versions of our original'. (who is now 'adult Susan') You may call them your 'host body', but for us they have not always been the one's playing host.

'Thea' and 'Maddie' were played by many different changelings over the years, they just evolved from what was happening in the bodies life at the time and working out what to do next.

Our job was not to be noticed and to present as the 'original' in situations where she couldn't cope, but technology, health and illnesses and world events have changed the circumstances of the body quite drastically over the years. (The changing of the legal name has also caused a lot of emotional confusion for 'Susan' coming back) We never expected to be 'found' or that 'Susan' or the other ANP's would ever have an awareness of our existence. We have had to completely change the way we worked and it hasn't always worked out! ..because there is no guidebook telling us what to do or who we need to be next, its all trial and error.

Jody is fine she's on the inside receiving 'the knowledge'. we are currently undecided what our next step should be
