This is something that has happened for a long long time and I just accept it as being normal for me and its not really a problem but I'm wondering if it has anything to do with dissociative disorder.
The thing is I seem to start dreaming as soon as I close my eyes. I don't even feel as though I've fallen asleep and I'm having really vivid dreams. They're not necessarily scary or disturbing but like I can close my eyes s at 10pm, have one of these dreams and open my eyes again and it will only be 10:05.
Just wondering if this is a thing anyway.
Thank you in advance.

Dunno if it is related or not, but, we do too fall into the dream-phase of sleep almost the moment we fall asleep.
We had a sleep polygraphy some time ago. The result showed that we do fall into deep sleep almost instantly and for very long periods of time. The sleep doctor called this "depression sleep" because apparently it's common for depressive people to have this.
Dunno if what you experience is related to what we experience, though.

Ah so we thought it was just us that sometimes did that. Dream almost immediately (although remembering the dream isn't so easy) and it can be only... a few minutes.
