- From my own experience with the system I am part of, nobody is "left behind". Some get dormant for a while, but everybody stays here one way or another.
- Dissociating from the trauma is what enables us to function "normally" through the everyday life. Dissociating is a coping / survival mechanism. It is not bad per se, since it helps surviving.
- Therefore, the dissociated, traumatized parts are not "left behind". They are in hiding and keeping their secrets safe, so the host part/s can function. When the traumatized parts are triggered into front, or when they feel safe enough to come forward and talk about what they held, this enables to work with them towards healing them. But also, towards sharing the informations they hold with the rest of the system, towards helping the other parts to accept that this happened to the whole system since it happened to one of the system, come to terms with the events, desensitize the negative triggers... All the "classical" PTSD work.
- Nobody is left behind in a system - everybody is important and holds one of the keys towards healing the traumas and working together as a team to keep the whole system safe and happy.
