Songs for multiples?

Postby Eliseahorse » Fri Nov 06, 2020 10:33 am

Does anyone know of any songs that could be interpreted as being about loving your self multiply?
"You'll be in my heart" kinda works.

Just when we are down we tend to use music as a crutch.

We are not sure this is what you had in mind but a quick search brought up:

Wale - "Voices in My Head" Featuring "Highbridge"

I would say in context it may not equate to multiplicity but out of context, maybe an appreciation more than loving? I can certainly appreciate what my alts have done in regards of trying to protect me, for sure.

I am not necessarily a rap fan but some of you may be.

"Voices in my head
They make me think larger
Make me reach lower to find out what I got left
Voices in my head
They make me go harder
Make me think sharper, younging but I’m wiser
Voices in my head
They make me dream higher
Maybe I can realize all I desire
Voices in my head
It never goes quiet
Sometimes it’s so crowded it feel like it’s a choir
Playing in my head
Voices in my head"
Newly Dxed system. So many questions. Alts: Known who don't want to be named in public Three 2-3,5, Bastian 13,Lucy 16,24,27,30,31and several whose names are yet to be known.

idk about specificly 'loving yourself multiply' but theres a whole thread about songs that remind of DID
dissociative-identity/topic66735.html

we used to listen to a P!nk song called 'Split Personality' that, well the title says it all lol

it might be a stretch but the song Let It Go from Frozen was really big for us, not just our littles, cos like we kinda interpreted the lyrics as like our system going from hidden and stuff to everything coming out & the host freaking and trying to keep it all pushed down inside "dont let them see dont let them know" kinda thing, idk i cant remember the lyrics atm.

Thanks viola as soon as we saw evanescence listed the unknown forced its way to the front and sang both songs out loud we have never heard of these before but they came out during a year where we still have memory gaps. The feeling that we got realy intensely was of a desperation to communicate. Also a distrust of a substitute teacher ... looks like we may have had a breakthrough. Definitely gonna be some intense journaling tonight.

We love "Sirens" from Saint Asonia. It's our song when we feel down or triggered. It reminds us we're together in this and we can count on each other.

There's also "better than I know myself" from Adam Lambert, which makes us think about the dynamic between Kal and Erdian.

I Won't Give Up by Jasaon Mraz. We like the version he did with Straight No Chaser best.

Also, Conversations With My 13 Year-Old Self by P!nk.

We have a favorite hymn, "We are many parts" and even take the printout home when they sing it at our church. For us it is about working together and caring for each of our parts, and learning to function "as one" whether or not we ever fuse.
