Lately I have been dissociating quite a bit during my shift. I will lose track mostly of just minutes of time but sometimes I wonder how long I was gone. How do I do this less? I believe it's affecting my job performance.

Do you have any reason to suspect you have a dissociative disorder? Losing track of time can fall within "perfectly normal" or at least it wouldn't necessarily indicate the presence of a dissociative disorder.

Is it a mundane task you're doing, or something completely boring, or sooooo routine you like do it all the time? Or worse, doing nothing at all.
It is NOT uncommon for minor "dissociation" (it technically IS, but not to the "disorder" level) to happen in these situations. People commonly have it happen- listening to a song or album they know by heart and suddenly realizing they're at the end or several songs ahead... or driving and going "auto-pilot" mode and not realizing it until they just suddenly realize they're miles ahead of the last thing they remember seeing/doing... THIS IS NORMAL. Everyone has this kinda experience. If what you're having is like this, don't stress it. Just try and find something to keep your mind more on the here and now, and it'll take care of itself... it won't happen as much.
Check out this vid for some info on dissociation and when it is and isn't a dissociate disorder.
