Toy box

Postby Rive » Tue Feb 04, 2020 9:25 pm

My therapist told me today that I shouldn't compare myself to everyone on here. Also that I am not comparing myself to everyone in the world that has a dissociative disorder. That they are on a spectrum like Autism. The littles have been chattering a lot. I don't have a lot of money but I am going to make a shoe box with some of the things they have asked for: sour gum, a princess book you dress a princess up with stickers, a Spiderman doodle book and some b'loonies (plastic balloons you can blow. I already have scented play doh. I bought them a robot charm for my bracelet, and I got them a truck they can build.

Do you have a charity shop near you? They often have a collection of toys for younger kids and are usually alot cheaper than new. They usually clean them before selling them on so are 'like new' condition' but don't have all the original packaging.

£1 shops usually have things like small packs of colouring books/puzzle books/toys. Cheap large print wordsearch books are popular with our little's too.

Went to the dollar tree. Got bubbles, transformer coloring packs I can take with me, and cheeseburger, bacon, donut, pizza, and ninja turtles tattoos.

ooo, some of our littles are excited. And a little jealous. Are you going to label the box? (somebody's wondering)
