Coming out to your boss

Postby ShinyPearl12 » Tue Oct 29, 2019 10:15 pm

On my way home from the screening with my T, I wondered if my DID would have to be brought up with my supervisor. So far, I’ve been able to bury embarrassing moments. If he knew I have this disorder, he’d perhaps be more understanding. I just don’t like being blamed for things out of my reach.

It could be a good thing to come out to him. Then again, I don’t know how he’d take it.

By the way, in the screening, I could feel some alters reacting. Not sure if it was the session or the T. They came out in full force in my head. This is gonna to happen every time. There’s another session set up, then a psychiatrist.

Hey, so there was a thread not too long ago where this was asked.

dissociative-identity/topic214622.html

Scroll down in there for Johnny-Jack's and Una+'s responses, they're really smart IMHO. And ignore my post in there lol, its not that smart. :)

Amethyst is right, Johnny Jack and Una say it best. I was gonna say "no way. Don't do that. Far too risk and none of their business." But they say it all much better.
