Thanks birdsong. Just now remembering that there are parts that react to scent really well and stories and I even wrote about it a few weeks ago. Ive forgotten.. Happens all the time.
And when many part are triggerd at once its like, where do you begin to work. One part may need a hug for comfort for say, but another will be totally scared of it and get even more triggerd..
I will read your links!

Liked the YouTube sound very much. Calming!
The hands excersise looks like a good one but im a bit afraid of trying. Hands are things that give us triggers also. I dont shake hands with people and am always afraid of hands. But still I could see how it could work.
Thanks again.

Thanks, birdsong.
I am not taking it lightly.
I am seriously thinking about only doing this for one semester and then switching to a different programme, especially if it won't get better. In that scenario, I could even drop out of my courses if needed.
I'm going to see if I can do more differentiation (discrimination), talk through the triggers in therapy, and yes, hopefully find a way to have a part present who is not triggered by all of it. I'm also going to try to find someone to talk to who can give me more information on how triggering actually working in this field would be for me. Then I can make an informed decision on what to do next.
For now, one day at a time...

@AllCoulors,
Maybe you could touch something else? Like your knee or elbow or something less triggering? Then there'd at least only be one hand.
Good on you for trying!
