Hi Amythyst people,

You guys were really brave to bring that stuff up with your T, and it sounds like it went well, and that she thinks you're doing a good job.

thanks MDs & thanks Gang!

our T called us this morning to ask us to switch to video session today but it was her calling not her staff so that was good. it still triggered Ciara out front when Ts name came up on the display & weve been blendy & barely able to function since then but its not the Ts fault.

actualy she let us decide between video session & inperson but inperson had to be at a different location so ciara & Em decided video was better cos driving to a different location was too big a challenge for us today.

last week when we mentioned about having to talk to the mother on the phone we forgot to mention the worst part of that whole thing.

she sent us an email & said if we didnt call her she was gonna call the police & ask them to do a wellness check on us. which like, is pretty much the worst possible thing. like call the cops & tell them you want them to chec on someone whos "mentally ill" cos your worried for their safety or something? weve read so many accounts of the cops just showing up & shooting the person theyre supposed to be checkign on cos they assume 'mental illness' means 'violently dangerous' & dont care if they're ######6 triggering or whate ver when they storm in?

so em told the mother she was basiccaly threatening to get us killed or shot or w/e and todl her to never ever do that.

shes that age of stupid selfcentred white woman who doesnt think of anything other than her feelings & what she watns tho & like who knows if shel even remember any of that. she never cares what we ask or what our boundarys are anyways

sorry for ranting

got upset again thninking abot it

Can you talk to your T about this and find out what your options are? It might be possible for you or maybe the T (with your permission) to contact the police and preempt this tactic.

Maybe you can report that she's unstable, and has been threatening to call the police if she doesn't get a phone call from you. That can't be an appropriate way to use wellness checks. Maybe if you call them first and ask them to do a wellness check on HER it will make her think twice? Idk.

Another idea is to tell her that if she EVER calls the police on you like that, you will absolutely never call her again.

Also, wtf--I thought you lived in Canada where it's civilized. Do the police do that $#%^ up there also???

thankyou Gang

we're not sure yet if we can talk to our T about it but its on our mind to try

and yeah canada is maybe not as bad as other places but its still bad
if you call 911 and ask for an ambulance but mention mentle helth the send cops not ambulance
and here in ontario (cant say too much cos politix) they recently did something with law to give police even more power vs mentally ill people

**** triger warning death police violence ****

and just last year (or earlier this yer) the police were called to 'wellnes check' a black woman & wound up shooting her like 20x or something in toronto

*** end trigger warning ****

theres enuf instances of cops here doing that to make it a thing we worry about

(i wish this board had spoiler code so we could hide trigery stuff behind a black bar, like click-to-reveal kinda thing)

anyways we do videosession soon so we hafta go

the nice thing about videosession with T is we can cuddle Teg's fox stuffy AND my kitty stuffy at the same time.

we have lots of really hard stuff happening now. old bad memory stuff keeps coming up and it scares the frontpeople a bunch.

viola hides during T and takes a long time to come back.

i'm tired and want to be not here now but nobody else is around.

she's gonna be upset tho when she comes back cos she forgot about another one of us again. she forgot about Claire even tho Claire has been kinda calling for help for a while.

our T helped us to help Claire a bit tho. L is gonna stay with her and maybe look after her.

Hi Ciara,

We cuddle two stuffies when we talk to our T on video also!

I'm sorry you have bad memory stuff coming up. You're very brave to talk to the T about it.

And I'm glad Claire is getting help now also. We have a Claire, too.

I hope viola isn't too upset when she comes back.

thank you Jaden ^^

i'm not too upset today, i guess i went thru all that when i remembered about Tegan. i'm sad & stuff about Claire but not freaking out or angry with myself this time.

otoh we're super stressed today, for no reason. or like, someone inside is really stressed maybe. or maybe its just like a random anxiety attack.

also getting bad headaches off & on.

idk whats going on.

last night we found out theres a super secret invitation-only discord server for authors in the genre that viola writes in, cos a friend of ours got invited to it. she told us cos she wondered if we'd got invited but didn't join for some reason.

she also said she searched the group history & found they talked about inviting us but never did & they talk about us & about violas writing sometimes.

we talked to our friend some more this morning & theres alot of really difficult feelings back & forth about it cos the friend was wondering how come she got invited & we didnt. she's got maybe 10 chapters published of 2 unfinished stories over ~6 months or w/e meanwhile viola's got over 600,000 words published & 5 complete books & puts out new material every single day.

viola wasnt upset herself, like she's actually got enuf selfconfidence to know her writing is good enuf & if they're excluding her its got nothing to do with her skill. but others of us got upset cos its like childhood stuff all over again, all the other kids form teams & clubs & cliques & stuff & we're always left out & ignored & stuff.

our friend was a bit upset cos of the same thing, like she doesnt wanna be in a group if its excluding us for some reason & she said she had the same childhood stuff & knows how it feels to be left out & stuff.

we dont know what any of it means, just that some of us are upset about it & others arent so upset but we're happy for our friend that she got invited. i guess its just a thing we hafta figrue out by ourselves how we feel & why wee feel it & stuff.

That sounds tricky. I would also feel uneasy and upset about it.
I hope you'll come to a good resolve.

Good to read that you and your T are still working together and stuff.
