It's lovely to get some sort of clarity. I'm hoping all goes well with a diagnosis so that I can get to the bottom of what is going on. Itll take me a while to come to terms with saying we if it happens that I do have this. I feel with certainty that I do but I dont know without seeking professional help

Welcome to the forum! If you're searching for a place in which you can find answers this is probably the one. You just have to browse a bit. That's what I did at the beginning and I'm doing much better now than when I first wrote here.
