I answered Dnesters post about his alter being a demon. I feel in hindsight I answered it irresponsibly. To me saying "maybe your alter is a demon" is like saying "maybe it'll rain" or "maybe the porridge is cold" because I deal with delusional alters every day. Knowingly for a short amount of time because they went subconscious in therapy about 10years ago and only woke up recently but still I'm pretty used to them. So I apologise for that. And also if it was upsetting or triggering to anyone else.
I also wondered if anyone here consideres any of their alters delusional or do you put it down to inner world life, because I could look at it like that but I don't?

Most of our alters live parallel lives, similar but different. I've spent years trying to figure out what's 'Real', and I've realized that everyone's version has a lot of truth to it. But yeah, sometimes I listen to Georgie and think 'wow girl, you need a sedative'.

Hi Autumn J here, maybe they are not delusional, but it is their own truth? It is like that movie Vantage Point, each person saw something different, to them it is their own truth. What someone else saw was different and was their own truth. Neither truth is wrong, both are correct.
Why I used that example was that recently Purple Haze asked a few of us the same question and got different answers. She was starting to doubt us, but that example helped her.
I am not sure if that helps you or not, but I hope it does.

Hi to you both,
Thanks for the replies. Mine say stuff like they own shares and own companies. Complete fabrication. They also believed "we're in the matrix" once and loads of other stuff, like they wrote songs and paid for films to be made. So I see it as delusional. I could see it as "their inner world" I suppose.
When something in reality coincidentally fits with what they're saying it's very difficult because a general life rule of mine is "their are no coincidences" The worst example being when I already felt incredibly anxious for some reason and was out. They (the twins) said it was OK because they had people watching me and making sure I was ok by watching via satalight and physically watching me. Then in a parking lot there was a van saying "twin communications" with a satalight dish on its roof. Which makes its very hard in the moment to make them shut up and to bring them to reality. It's just unfortunate, one of those life things that happens like when you think ab someone you know and bump into them. I think that is the "universe" bringing that person to you and that's ok but this level that happens with the twins can be very annoying and disorientating and it's sometimes hard to stay in reality.
Thanks for your answers.

Certainly, some of mine are delusional some psychotic. Really is nothing you can do about it until you find a way to understand how they got to be.
