Umm, No one named Jealousy here. I... Well, Bitterness, explained a bit about my system... The names you see are all made up. Shamrocks name is made-up too
From what I have read, people with DID are really good with metaphors. I'll admit to some loose metaphorical work in my names while resisting the collective unconscious idea.
Yes maybe made up names but I still find it interesting of the similarities and differences.
Although I don't feel Karen or Batcho (Trouble) were made up. They definitely feel that they were just there. Batcho was my imaginary friend as a child. Karen announced herself at school one play time. Karen isn't a name I like and I have no idea where Batcho came from. I found out it means trouble. I only looked into the meaning as an adult when my mum told me how creeped out she was one day listening to the radio. My imaginary friend Batcho had to have a place at the table, I played with him every day and no one knew where I got his name from. My mum was listening to the radio one day and they were interviewing an elderly man called Batcho in another country, somewhere like the Ukraine, and it gave her a shiver. When she told me about that I decided to look up meanings of the name or word. It means Trouble in Romany Gypsy dialect. I have been nick named Trouble by people myself so I like to call him Trouble instead of Batcho as I feel more linked to that.
So I don't feel I made up all the names, some just came.
I think you're right about metaphors and also it seems people with DID are more "imaginative" generally.
