So this is just OUR experience, from my perspective...
At first our T was a bit "hostile" to us as like our own individual people/personas. He insisted for quite some time we were "part of Zor"... in that like anything we said, thought, did, was cuz ZOR wanted to. Since he's been learning he's moved more to a "part of Zor" in the sense we share the body that Zor does- and he's our main host and out the most, and probably the "original" (AFAIK and I'm the first in our system I know of, well Angel and I both). BUT EVEN THEN our T was NEVER cold and impersonal. He, even the first time I came out, was careful to address ME (was willing to talk to Zor FOR ME to get a message, using my name even), to talk TO ME. He was not cold and impersonal, much less hardly caring who was out.
If your T is so cold and impersonal, maybe he is burned out like was suggest above. Maybe he's one of the "DID doesn't exist" types that is just negative cuz of what he chooses to believe before you ever walk in the door, or maybe he's just not the right fit for you and your system.
But OUR T has been warm, personable, making efforts to learn about things we care about and believe (asking about our religious beliefs, the holy days we keep and why we do- how they are diff from mainstream believers, etc). He's asked about hobbies and why we like them- even ME apart from Zor... "why do you like this when Zor doesn't?"... he's made a POINT to learn Zor, then learn US in the system sense... AND admitting we're his first DID kinda deal, he's made efforts to LEARN about our condition and situation to help us better and more effectively.
A T SHOULD be doing these things, imho. One that isn't and refuses to, imho again, is likely to be dangerous and do more harm than good.
